Lady Bulldogs Participate in Rhodes College Invitational

Memphis, Tenn. - The Tougaloo College Women's Cross Country team traveled to Memphis, Tenn. to participate in the Rhodes College Invitational. The Lady Bulldogs finished 25th in the meet with an overal time of 3:12:24.

Again for the third time, the Lady Bulldogs were paced by Chesha Lewis, who finished with a time of 26:53 in the 5K race. Lewis finished 174 out of 206 runner. Following Lewis was Alegsha Haywood, who came in at 198 with a time of 33:57. Debraia Bell in her debut came in 203 with a time of 43:34. Jamesia Grice came in at 204 with a time of 43:52 and Melissa Creese came in at 205 with a time of 44:05.

The Lady Bulldogs have a two-week break before competing in the Waston Ford Invitational hosted by Mississippi College. Race is set to start at 8:00 A.M. on October 7th at Choctaw Trails.
