Lady Bulldogs Knock Off Selma

Selma, Ala. - The Tougaloo College Lady Bulldogs swept Selma University on Saturday with a 68-58 victory to advance to 3-5 on the season.

After a very intense game on Tuesday between the two schools, they met again on Saturday in Selma. The game was a little less intense, but the results were the same as the Lady Bulldogs rolled to a season sweep of Selma. The Lady Bulldogs shot 53% from the field and outrebounded Selma 55-36.

Melissa Creese led the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points. Jermani Thompson followed with 14 points, Debraia Bell tacked in 12 points and Montoria Atkinson chipped in 11 points. Atkinson posted her 6th double double by adding 11 rebounds and Bell posted her 3rd double by adding 15 rebounds. The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action on Tuesday as they host Mississippi College. Game time is set for 6:00 P.M.
