Lady Bulldogs Outpaced by UAPB

Pine Bluff, Ark. - The Lady Bulldogs are off to a rocky start following a 71-51 loss to the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff tonight.

After dropping its first two contest, the Lady Bulldogs were in high hopes of turning things around in Pine Bluff. The Lady Bulldogs pushed the Lady Lions in the first half as the score was tied at 25 at the half. In the second half, however, the Lady Lions proved to be too powerful for the Lady Bulldogs as they cruised to a 71-51 win over the Lady Bulldogs.

Montoria Atkinson paced the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points and 16 rebounds. The loss drops the Lady Bulldogs to 0-3 pm the season. The Lady Bulldogs will try for a win on Friday as they get a rematch with Louisiana State University. Game time is set for 6:00 P.M. in Shreveport.
