Lady Bulldogs Fall 67-50 to LSU Shreveport

Tougaloo, Miss. - The Tougaloo College Lady Bulldogs fell short 67-50 to the Lady Pilots of Loiusiana State University tonight in the Dawg Pound.

The Lady Bulldogs started off very slow in the first half as they only scored 19 points in 2 quarters of play. The Lady Pilots dominated the court as they took a commanding 34-19 halftime lead. In the second half, the Lady Bulldogs picked up the tempo, but it was not enough for them to overcome the undefeated Lady Pilots and they drop to 0-2 on the season.

Chesha Lewis was they lone Lady Bulldog to post double figure scoring with 12 points. Montoria Atkinson posted 11 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Bulldogs will continue their search for a win on Friday as they travel to Pine Bluff, AR to take on Division I foe the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. Game time is set for 6:00 P.M.
