MEN'S BASKETBALL ADDS THREE JUCO STANDOUTS
Tougaloo, Miss. - Men's Basketball Head Coach Thomas Billups adds three new recruits to his roster for the 2020-2021 season. Those added are Jaylen Lester, Antwan Beans and Tyler Berryhill.
Jaylen Lester, a 6'0 sophomore guard at Holmes Community College, shot 44% from the field and from beyond the arc while at Holmes. He's a dynamic shooter that bring a plethora of talent and hard work to the Bulldog program. Lester, a native of Durant, Mississippi is a product of Canton High School.
Antwan Beans, a 5'11 sophomore guard at Jackson State Community College averaged 13.8 points and 6.2 assists per game and shot 42% from the field and 82% from the charity stripe. He's a talented and true point guard that will bring a great deal of experience and knowledge of the game to the Bulldog program. Beans, a native of Memphis, Tennessee is a product of Ridgeway High School.
Tyler Berryhill, a 5'10 sophomore guard at Coahoma Community College shot 43% from the field during his stint at Coahoma. He's a quick and very skilled combo guard that will bring plenty of experience, hard work and dedication to the Bulldog program. Berryhill, a native of Webb, Mississippi is a product of West Tallahatchie High School, where he was very instrumental in the Choctaws winning the 2016 MHSAA 2A Boys State Championship.
