Bulldogs Ease Past LeMoyne
Memphis, Tenn. - The Tougaloo College Men's Basketball had no problems knocking off LeMoyne Owen College tonight, easing past the Magicians 92-70 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
After a heartbreaking 101-96 double OT loss to the University of Southern Mississippi, the Bulldogs were ready to bounce back to their winning ways. From start to finish, the Bulldogs simply dominated the Magicians. At halftime, the Bulldogs led the Magicians 49-34. The Bulldogs shot an impressive 60% from the field, 59% from behind the arc and 73% from the charity stripe. The Bulldogs also outrebounded the Magicians 36-30.
Jarmell Anderson led four Bulldogs in double figures with 24 points. Denarius Odell followed with 23 points, Andravious Smith tacked in 16 points and Christopher Wallace chipped in 15 points. The Bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to Tyler, TX to take on Texas College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 P.M.
