FRIAS GRABS GCAC HONOR

Tougaloo, MS-The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) announced its players of the week for the week ending March 23, 2014. Tougaloo's Enmanuel Frias received Player of the Week for his performance on last week.
Frias, a sophomore from the Dominican Republic, receives the award for the third time this season. In the Bulldogs' 3-2 loss to Belhaven University and 2-1 loss to Division I Jackson State University on last Wednesday, Frias had a .429 batting average for the week; going 3 for 7 at the plate. the Bulldogs' starting catching currently has a .315 batting average which includes 3 homeruns, 5 doubles, 1 triple and 23 total hits. He also has 13 RBIs.
